Looks like electricity bills have become a new topic of satire in Bollywood. After actress Taapsee Pannu complained about the incorrect amount charged to her. Now, it’s Arshad Warsi who have come out and spoken about the same issue, but with a humorous take on it.

It’s a hidden fact that Arshad likes to paint, apart from being an actor and he’s really good at this too. In his latest interview, the Munnabhai actor spoke about how painting is therapeutic for him despite being a time-consuming process. And the actor has asked people to buy his works so that he can pay his electric bill.

Taking to his Twitter account, he wrote- “People please buy my paintings, I need to pay my Adani electric bill, kidneys am keeping for the next bill.” (sic) however, this is not the first time Warsi complained about it. A few days back, when Huma Qureshi also did the same, Warsi had this to tweet, have a look right here:

Seeing his plea on Twitter, Shruti Seth tweeted to the actor- “Yayyy!!!
I’ve two of exclusive paintings @ArshadWarsi
I might also need to auction one for paying my Tata electricity bill.” (sic)

And this is what Tisca Chopra had to say from her side, have a look at her tweet right here:

Warsi then tweeted that the problem was solved, take a look:

The ace actor is not the only one questioning about the exorbitant charges on social media. Before him, Taapsee Pannu, Huma Qureshi, Vir Das, Renuka Shahane, and Dino Morea also spoken about their problems and plea.

Arshad Warsi debuted in Bollywood with ABCL’s Tere Mere Sapne (1996) 24 years back, he won audiences hearts with several promising performances and reinvented himself as an actor with the unforgettable success of Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.
