Bollywood actress Bhumi Pednekar, who was a co-star in Sushant Singh Rajput starrer Sonchiriya (2019) is hugely saddened by the untimely demise of the promising actor. Recently she posted a heartfelt note remembering Sushant and referred him as ‘supernova’. Bhumi recalled her shooting days in Chambal Valley with SSR.
For paying her tributes to the late brilliant actor, She has joined hands with ace director Abhishek Kapoor’s wife Pragya’s foundation ‘Ek Saath the Earth’ to feed more than 550 impoverished families. She confirms saying, “I wow to provide food for 550 impoverished families with the help of Ek Saath Foundation in the memory Sushant. Let’s display love and compassion towards everyone that’s much needed, now than ever.”
In a tribute to Sushant, Pragya’s Ek Saath foundation has already committed to providing food for 3400 impoverished families in the coming times. The motive behind this initiative is helping those who lost their jobs or income source in the lockdown times. Speaking about the initiative Pragya briefs, “It’s our way of paying tribute to Sushant and honoring his craft. Everything requires to be achieved and done. To cherish him and everything he believed for. As friends, it gives us something to hold on to.”
Pragya launched her foundation “Ek Saath The Earth” in February 2020 with an aim of citing awareness about the climate crisis and promote issues like tree plantation drives, animal welfare, beach cleanups, and more.
