Ashutosh Rana, who rose to fame with villainous turns in Dushman (1998) and Sangharsh (1999), is ready for his comeback in upcoming release “Dhadak”. Having worked with Shashank four years ago in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, the actor said that “I share a great relationship with Karan Johar’s production house and (director) Shashank Khaitan who has strived to explore my full potential as an actor. My character in Dhadak is magnetic, viewers will be drawn into his psyche.”
Known for bringing a life in every role, he will be seen playing the role of Janhvi Kapoor’s upper-class, narrow-minded landlord father in Dhadak. He also said that working these new people was a great experience and both of them have helped a lot in sharpening my skills. Dhadak is a remake of Marathi blockbuster Sairat and will hit the theatres on 20 July 2018.
