Gulshan Grover has been in Bollywood for almost 4 decades now. The phenomenal actor started his journey in Bollywood with Sanjay Dutt starrer Rocky in 1981 and will be seen in mega-budget movies like – Sooryavanshi, Mumbai Saga, and Sadak 2. In his latest interview, Grover openly spoke about his struggles, success, and how he made it through a lot of hard work.

One of the most iconic villains of Hindi cinema elaborated on the story of his struggling days and how he used to stand outside offices for countless hours regardless of being completely trained in acting. He also remembered the sweet gestures of already established stars like Amitabh Bachchan and Shatrughan Sinha for recommending him. He claimed himself as the outcome of earnestness who got help from already established names for roles in some movies.

He added that Insiders make it rather easy in getting introduced or socializing to grab some opportunities. The film fraternity, however, cannot guarantee that a star kid is going to be a star. They definitely have a plus over outsiders, but the ultimate decision is within the public’s hand.”

He then revealed how he waited outside offices for work despite being completely trained. Earnestness and sincerity will never lead you downwards.” When he was questioned about him combating nepotism, the actor gave a rather interesting reply.

He quoted that the father was unable to offer help for his son but the son does help his father. Sanjay is prominently active as a movie producer in Hollywood. He’s going extremely good than what I could possibly have done. He’s helping me find roles. But having said that, I’d be highly grateful if he ever wants to come back for working in Bollywood.”

Talking about Sushant Singh Rajput and therefore the online trolling and hate that his upcoming film Sadak 2 is getting, the actor had his opinion clear. He said, “Am having 2 distinct approaches. Firstly, I’m a supporter of Justice for Sushant, and I am hoping more clarity will emerge within the case. Secondly, I’m working with Mahesh Bhatt, one of the greatest directors who has given me a film after film, and I’m extremely excited for the movie.”

Grover has been a villain in multiple films in his glorious career and referred to as the Bad Man, because of his performance in Ram Lakhan. Some other works of him include commercial success like Criminal, Sir, Sabse Bada Khiladi, Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, Yes Boss, 16 December, and now Sooryavanshi.
