Jug Jugg Jeeyo’s cast is in quarantine after testing covid positive; meanwhile, Maniesh Paul is experiencing symptoms returning to Mumbai.
Jug Jugg Jeeyo’s shooting was postponed three weeks after director Raj Mehta, lead actor Varun Dhawan, and Neetu Kapoor tested COVID-19 positive. The whole unit stationed in Chandigarh had to undergo screening on Thursday morning after a crewman developed symptoms.
The source report says, “The hotel was now sanitized, and Neetuji, Raj, and Varun were put in isolation in their separate rooms. Their symptoms are mild thus far and are being monitored by doctors.”
Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor, who also feature within the relationship dramedy, tested negative yesterday. However, they’re going to be required to undergo another screening for a few days. It’s heard that the actors will head back to Mumbai after they complete the required quarantine within the north Indian city.
Meanwhile, Manish Paul, a part of the unit until earlier in the week and returned to Mumbai two days ago, has developed symptoms. He will practice home-quarantine after running a test,” says a source. While the makers had initially planned a start-to-finish schedule in Chandigarh, the shoot has been stalled for three weeks thanks to the recent development.
