In Bollywood, it’s assumed by many who one must be outgoing enough and show their presence at filmy parties to urge conversant in people so as to urge work. Interestingly, there are some leading actors who have always mentioned being reserved and not being a celebration person. Khaali Peeli actor Jaideep Ahlawat, who hails from Haryana and is an outsider during this industry opines that there’s no such got to be visible at these so-called ‘Bollywood parties’.
Talking to Bombay Times, he says, “When I used to be new here, I did hear people saying things love it may be a must to be a neighborhood of film parties if you would like to network with industry people.” Jaideep who made his Bollywood debut with Aakrosh in 2010, went on to be a neighborhood of films like Gangs Of Wasseypur, Commando: a 1 Army man, Raees, Raazi, Vishwaroopam among others, says that for networking he lets his ‘work’ do the talking.
He saying, “Meri networking kaam se kaam pe hoti chali aayi hai. I’m happy that people offered me new work watching my previous performances. Likewise, there are some people jo parties mein nahi jaate, par phir bhi behtareen kaam karte hai.”
In an earlier interview with BT, Jaideep elaborated on his journey from a little town to Pune where he studied movies then to Mumbai, where he began his career in Bollywood sans a godfather or a mentor.
