Bajpayee starts shooting a thriller, “Dial 100”, and Sakshi Tanwar and Neena Gupta join him.
With the shoot of the second season of The husband long bound up, Manoj Bajpayee has had the time to shake the character of Srikant Tiwari off him and can now portray a replacement role. The actor began the shoot of his next, Dial 100, in Mumbai yesterday. Created by Siddharth P Malhotra’s Alchemy Films and Sony Pictures, the thriller sees Bajpayee work with Sakshi Tanwar and Neena Gupta.
Rensil D’Silva, who has previously dabbled in thrillers, including Kurbaan (2009), Ungli (2014), and 24, says Dial 100 is far away from his earlier works despite belonging to an equivalent genre. “Dial 100,” a thriller, has come with an engaging story that engages the public. It is a quiet movie that one has to watch repeatedly to seek out a loophole within the mystery. “My partners have given me a good canvas, which is exciting yet daunting.” Rensil plans to terminate the movie within the city.
