It’s been a while since ace filmmaker Priyadarshan has announced the sequel of his 2003 blockbuster ‘Hungama’ before nationwide lockdown on March 20. According to insiders, the maximum part of the movie has been already shot and only a song is left to be shot. Now, the director wants to accomplish the shoots by September.
During his interview with a leading news agency, Priyadarshan said that child artists belong to the age group of 8 – 11 years and they have grown in the past four months of lockdown. He further added that these kids are playing important roles in the story so it’s necessary for maintaining the continuity.
The ‘Hera Pheri’ director further stated that only a song has to be shot with the kids in Kullu Manali and he desires to complete it off by September ’20.
The sequel to hit comedy blockbuster will feature Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Paresh Rawal, Meezaan Jaaferi, Pranitha Subhash in pivotal roles. The movie is eagerly awaited by the fans ever-since first look posters got released.
While several filmmakers have released their movies at OTT platforms, Shilpa Shetty still desires a nationwide theatrical release.
