Ace Bollywood actor Vidya Balan will be seen portraying the role of Shakuntala Devi also known as Human-computer. The film was supposed to release in May 2020 but due to the ongoing lockdown, all the releases have been stopped.
However, fans can still enjoy the latest movies, as after Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘Gulabo Sitabo’, Vidya’s ‘Shakuntala Devi’ will also be released on digital platforms. Today, the actress took her social media handle to confirm that much-awaited biopic based on the life of mathematician will exclusively premiere on an OTT platforms this June.

Direction and story by Anu Menon, the film also stars Sanya Malhotra, who will be seen playing the role of Shakuntala’s daughter Anupama, Amit Sadh, and Jisshu Sengupta in pivotal roles.
