Director Ali Abbas Zafar made a buzz when he declared his upcoming ambitious plan – ‘Mr. India’ a three-part film.
In his current ETimes interview, Ali said: There has been buzz about Ali Abbas Zafar’s next project. “It’s a new sci-fi film, and with the high production values, we desire to design characters like the ‘Avengers.’ This ‘Mr. India’ will be of international standards”.
The film is being produced by Boney Kapoor, which begged the question if any of his kids are going to be cast within the film. Arjun Kapoor has featured in his dad’s productions, including the 2014 flick ‘Tevar.’ While Zafar said that the cast wasn’t yet decided, he had something interesting to share the likelihood of Janhvi Kapoor being cast within the film.
Late actress Sridevi played the actress Seema Sohni within the hit 1987 film. If Janhvi would play her mother’s role for the next project, Ali admitted, “Early days still, but his father is going to be happy.”
A large part of this upcoming venture will reportedly be ‘very heavy on special effects.’ it’s only one of Ali’s interesting lineup that also includes a superhero film with Katrina Kaif within the lead.
